Patricia Airways Limited 1928

This company was formed as a result of the liquidation of Patricia Airways and Exploration Limited in Jan 1928. It began operations in the Red Lake area using their sole surviving Stinson Detroiter biplane.

Though the first mail flight was made on Feb 4 1928, mail was only carried irregularly and the company did not possess official approval for its mail flights. The company only lasted a comparatively short time with the reason for its demise being somewhat obscure but the competition from Western Canada Airways was certainly a factor.
